The United States and China, the two largest emitters of greenhouse gas emissions, said Saturday they would exchange information to better fight against global warming.

After a visit to an American-Chinese company producing clean diesel engines, the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said that the two countries would work together. “China and the United States will intensify their efforts to share information and discuss policies that will help us to be able to develop standards to be announced next year as part of the agreement on climate change” said Mr. Kerry. The American company Cummins partnered with the Chinese Foton to produce by April near Beijing about 60,000 engines per year own, thanks to an investment of approximately $ 350 million.
